“This series of Polaroids is built around the idea of English ordinariness. I wanted to photograph things we see every day: telephone boxes, lampposts, electricity pylons, duck ponds, summer grasses, people on trains. They’re so ordinary, it’s easy to miss them ñ but the magic of Polaroid reminds us how extraordinary they really are.”
