At a time when the Russian government are being complete **** and **** with their LGBT community, it’s good to see a crazy Russian artist successfully doing what he is doing. It’s unfortunate he is not a working artist in Russia, but we’re sure you will agree, it’s Russia’s loss (hopefully Russia’s people can still access his work through the internet/books if it’s allowed).
Slava was recently interviewed on Dazed Digital where he talks about the current issues in Russia and his show with Brian Kenny at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art opened 2nd August – more on that HERE.
